Our Incredible Life Paths: Nathanael NOIRAUD (TBS 2010)

02 September 2019 Portraits / Podcasts

Please say a few words about yourself.

Why did you choose to go to Toulouse, and TBS, to study?
The general ambiance of the city and school. The quality and diversity of the programmes offered.

Would you tell us about your time as a student at TBS?
To summarise: First year at Toulouse - a lot of involvement with the student association (successful campaign with the student body) and an exceptional internship in Costa Rica; second year at Toulouse - in English Track; final year in Europe, then in Patagonia, and finally a double-degree in the USA.

Do you have stories from your graduating class to share? (Student associations, projects, professors ...)
There are so many good memories. Among those, the one I prefer to highlight is a sporting memory: the great team spirit and members of the handball team which I had the honour to be captain and coach.

Who are you today?

From what perspective did you enter the labour force after graduation? What motivated you?
I was determined to build a major international career and challenge myself constantly.

What is your current situation?
I’m the Founder and CEO of several companies including NSCS (60 employees in 20 different countries, and 60 clients in just two and a half years) that has accelerated and invested in the growth of innovative start-ups scale-ups in different sectors - HealthTech, EdTech, and SmartCity - in Asia Pacific.

Why did you choose this field, this goal?
Responsibility and the desire to create my own success and that of my employees in sectors that I am passionate about.

At what point did you know that this was the career path for you?
Pretty early on. I had previously held positions with major responsibilities within large Tech & Digital companies where I founded subsidiaries, launching new businesses, etc.

How did you get to where you are today in your professional career? (The major steps to take into account)
See my previous answer. To give a little more detail, I learned something in each professional position I held after I received MBA (there were three). They allowed me to strengthen and grow to the point that that I was able to create my first company with ease, which turned out to be the best professional decision I ever made. I’ve had a chain of successes and new challenges since 2016, with the launching of new companies, developing, recruiting, and investing in different projects and causes that fascinate me.

How did what you learn help you reach your personal and professional goals?
It enlarged the field of possibilities because I had held significant positions abroad.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Secret!

How are you involved with the Alumni association?

How has the alumni network been a support for you?
I had the pleasure of both reconnecting with certain people and meeting others.

How would you recommend using the association?
"We find what we bring" (quote from the film, “The Spanish Apartment”) and a little more perhaps!

What advice would you give to TBS alumni, students or graduates?
Challenge yourself, make yourself and share your experiences!
