TBSeeds incubator annual evening

11 July 2019 Entrepreneurship

TBS Alumni was present at the annual evening of the TBSeeds incubator on June 20, 2019.

Stéphanie Lavigne, Deputy Dean, started the evening with a word of welcome where she expressed the enthusiasm with which TBS accompanies and impels its students and graduates to start a company.

In the same spirit, Paul Lauriac, Director of Partnership Development and Business Services, confirmed this enthusiasm and announced that TBS Business School is now the firts Management School in France to become a member of the Babson Collaborative for Entreperneurship (founded and sponsored by Babson College).

Olivier Igon and Marine Parmentier, Pedagogical Officers of TBSeeds then gave us a review of the incubator since its creation and for the year 2018.

Since the launch of TBSeeds in 2012:

  • 111 accompanied projects
  • 36 creations and 2 times
  • Survival rate at 5 years: 77% of companies
  • More than 100 jobs created

Annual Review: 2018 Offers 13 & 14

  • 60 applications involving 96 students
  • 15 incubated projects
  • 8 projects in pre-incubation
  • 6 company creations: Tea'Magine, Keywe, Tutu Group, I'd like, The Co.Lab

This review was followed by a roundtable on Women's Entrepreneurship during which Anne-Louise Morin (Tea'Magine), Christy Colombain (Topeia) and Cécile Genty (Capsule) exchanged their experiences in entrepreneurship as women.

To conclude, we had the 2nd edition of the "Best seed" prize of the Financial Club of Toulouse:

The first prize (3000 euros) was awarded to HYDLE, created by Bastien Geslin and Aymeric RIGAUT, and the 2nd prize (2000 euros) was awarded to Tea'Magine, created by Anne Louise Morin.

This pleasant evening was followed by a cocktail party at the incubator during which the guests exchanged over a drink and some canapés.
