Marie-Laure is the creator behind the natural dermocosmetic brand which is named after her : "marie-laure viguier".
   
The ideas behind creating her own brand came from her own personal experience. She and members of her family had problem skin so she was only too well aware of the pyschological effects on wellbeing that are caused by trouble skin. She was keen to learn more about natural skin products and did so with a pharmacist who is an expert in the area.
 
She went on to create a range of timeless facial and body products using her own intuition and contribute to the development of excellent, healthy cosmetics and restore the former glory of natural products. These skin care products respect the skin's natural defenses while providing natural molecules that the skin can absorb as they are the same ones the skin is capable of producing. In this way, the skin does the work of getting the balance right whereas conventional cosmetics can have a tendancy to make the skin dependent on them.  
 
The skin care range satisfies specific criteria :
 
100% pure and natural, focusing only only ingredients of the highest quality, vegetable oils and precious essential oils, as well as patented bio-technological active ingredients (to maximum recommended concentration levels).
 
- Going above and beyond the classic organic : As a garantee that they are healthy, ths skin care range is certified as having 96% to 100% organic ingredients, when a product only needs to contain between 5 and 20% organic ingredients to achieve certification by some organizations.
 
- 100% active because every ingredient in the fomulas is useful to the skin  
 
- Made in France by a laboratory which has a long tradition in making good quality, natural products. Cold processing is the preferred method in order to preserve the original molecules and active ingredients. The raw products undergo double inspections. 
 
- The skin care range suits both men and women
 
- Vegan (apart from 2 references which contain propolis and French beeswax).
  
The skin range targets trouble and fragile skin types, for uncompromising effectiveness by acting on or anticipating skin conditions, while satisfying daily needs in terms of hydration and protection against external agressions and ageing.
 
The brand offers several skin care ranges

The rationale behind the brand is to create products that are both attractive on the inside (pure, flawless products that respect the skin and health, with tangible improved well-being for users) and attractive on the outside with elegant and refined packaging leaving a timeless impression. At the same time, they appeal to the consumer who desires natural products and those who are simply looking for solutions for their skin conditions.  
 
The packaging has been designed by Nadine Carel and Manuel Rubio (who also designed Karl Largefeld's famous mittens for Causse Gantier de Millau).
 
And to share a secret, the Parisian make-up artist, Frédérique Mécène, who is an advocate of natural products, uses the range in the dressingrooms for TV sets.
