These experiences have forged in him a global vision and an ability to meet the most complex challenges. Today, he is putting this expertise to work for the Ivorian oil and gas industry, a sector in the throes of rapid change.

At the head of a network of over twenty local companies operating in the oil and gas services sector, Kamel has established himself as a key figure in the Ivory Coast's energy industry. A committed visionary, he embodies a new generation of African leaders who are both rooted in their territories and focused on major global challenges.

Founder and Chairman of GESPETROGAZ-CI, Kamel campaigns for inclusive energy development, driven by local players and in tune with African socio-economic realities. Under his impetus, the organization signed a strategic agreement with Sirius Capital, mobilizing FCFA 50 billion to strengthen the capacities of Ivorian companies in a sector still largely dominated by international majors.

A graduate of TBS Education, Kamel Koné has used his skills in strategy and management to build a coherent vision: making local content not a constraint, but an opportunity for national development.
